I was born in Vojvodina – where I also went to school and graduated high school. I finished my university studies in Belgrade. Immediately after my studies I became high school teacher and I worked in the same high school for seventeen years. After 17 years as high school teacher, I unexpectedly was sent to Denmark by the Yugoslav government to work with children form the Former Yugoslavia.
Despite of my demanding job and the daily chores, I managed to spend most of my free time on my great love for art and poetry. To date I have had one independent and 2 joint art exhibitions in Copenhagen, Næstved and Frederiksværk. This was more than 20 years ago, whereafter my productivity as artist became secondary activity.
The contents of my life changed and the love of art and poetry faced a rival in the form of two lovely and dear creatures, namely, my grandchildren, Marko and Dimitrije. As the years passed, and the boys grew, my love for them grew as well, I felt like reborn, and the future looked promising and.
I’m still very active both in the production of paintings as well as poems.
